In the twinkling of an eye, beautiful autumn seems to have arrived.
In a fashion language it means that it's time to curb the chill with layering, scarves, sweaters -and of course; it's once again the time of the year when it's time to celebrate the golden age of the trench.
And almost two years ago, after years hunting, I found The Trench for me when I strike material happiness gold and found this perfection on sale; it's recommended retail price was nearly 400 euros and I bought it under 60 euros {plus, I got extra percent off because of its extinct belt}.
This perfection from Ril's is everything I dreamt of: it's unique, luxurious and high-quality, timeless but its own twist. Its only flaw is the size issue: I'm size 34, but The Trench is size 38 aka too big for me but that "flaw" is easy to weed out with the help of the belt {and I'm considering tapering it on sleeves}.
Anyway, in this case too, patience won the first prize! ☺
And without further ado, let me introduce you to The Perfect Trench that will be on duty for decades:

Tuota historiallista päivää edelsi vuosikausien etsintä siitä omannäköisestäni trenssiluomuksesta sitä kuitenkaan löytämättäni. Hakukriteerinäni olivat uniikkisuus, ylellisyys, monikäyttöisyys, laadukkuus sekä tietenkin ajattomuus, mutta kera oman twistinsä. Yllätyin lähes shokkimaisesti kun sellainen viimein Aleksi13:sta tulikin löyrettyä tuolloin miltein kaksi vuotta sitten!

Tietyt trenssiklassikot eivät pure itseeni {tosin nyt tämän yksilöni löydettyäni kelputtaisin enemmän kuin mielelläni niitäkin oheistrensseiksi ;-)} vaikka upeahkoja ovatkin, ja tästä syystä tämä Ril'sin uniikki yksilö onkin itselleni se täyrellisin valinta. Eikä sen täyrellisyyttä vähennä yhtään sen ainut kauneusvirhe: kokona 38 eli itselleni -34-kokoiselle- ihan liian iso, mutta vyön avustuksella tuonkin kauneusvirheen saa kätkettyä {hihoihin tosin olen miettinyt kavennusta, sen verran teltat ovat näille käsivarsilleni}.
Ovh tällä kaunottarella oli likimain 400 euroa, mutta loppuunmyynti yhdistettynä tavalliseen alehulinaan tulin pulittaakseni tästä -Siitä Oikeasta yksilöstäni- alle kuutisenkymmentä euroa {lisäksi sain alennusta mystisesti kadonneesta vyöstä, joka onkin tullut käytössä korvattua kenties paremmillakin vaihtoehdoilla eli omasta takaa löytyneillä vyövalinnoillani, jotka tarjoavat variaatioita itse trenssiluomukseenkin}.
Vuosien kärsivällisyys toi tässäkin tapauksessa sen parhaimman mahdollisen palkinnon!☺
