Many of you have said that you hope to see more of beauty-related articles here
and I agree; nowadays -it hasn't always been the case but that's another story-
I'm really interested in beauty products and all beauty-related and I just l-o-v-e
to try out new things. So, beauty-related articles are here to stay!

Let's start with this amazing organic cosmetics brand called Mossa*.
Mossa is a Latvian brand and if you're familiar with a brand called Mádara;
these two are like sisters -just like Lumene and its Natural Code.
So Mossa and Mádara both are from the same house but there are three differences
between them; target group, price level and also distribution channel.

So happy organic cosmetics news for us with a small wallet!
And these products seem to last forever in daily use too because I still use the same
products, I have only bought the vitamin cocktail oil twice.
So these are not only affordable but these last like forever.

I fell in love with Mossa about a year ago and I'm amazed;
I have a very difficult skin because it's so sensitive and also very atopy
and STILL since I've used Mossa my skin is in balance. Finally.
And it feels so incredible because my skin -especially during the winter and summer-
acts really difficult and I've always used pharmacy products.
And while I used those products, my skin was still in very bad shape.

Now my skin feels amazing and it's in a really good shape
-even though it's winter. And those rare days when my skin goes all atopy,
I rarely need to use Protopic anymore. And only then once; not often.
And that's kind of a miracle as an atopic person.

So you can say that I'm very much in love with Mossa because it changed my skin
(and that way really affected my life because better skin=easier to smile to the mirror)

Moni teistä on kertonut toivovansa enemmän kauneusaiheisia postauksia ja moon
samaa mieltä sillä nykyisin -kauneudenhoito ei ole nuorempana ollut suosikkejani mutta
se onkin jo toinen stoori se-moon erittäin kiinnostunut kauneudenhoidosta ja siihen liittyvistä
asioista sekä suorastaan rakastan kokeilla uusia juttuja ja sitä kautta löytää kenties uusia
suosikkeja. Joten, kauneusaiheiset postaukset ovat täällä jäädäkseen!

En tiedä, että kuinka monelle teistä latvialainen luonnonkosmetiikkamerkki Mossa* on tuttu,
mutta itse olen ihan yltiörakastunut kyseiseen merkkiin. Osasyynä rakastumiseen lienee
taattu laatu ja se, että kyseessä on Mádaran "pikkusisko" -aivan kuten suhde Lumenen ja Natural Coden välillä. Mossa ja Mádara ovat siis kotoisin täysin samasta talosta mutta eroavat
kolmella tavalla; kohderyhmällään, hintatasollaan sekä myös jakelukanavallaan.

Iloisia uutisia siis luonnoskosmetiikan saralta meille pienikukkaroisille!
Ja mainittakoon, että nämä tuotteet tuntuvat kestävän päivittäisessäkin käytössä
pienen ikuisuuden verran, sillä ainut, jota olen "joutunut" ostamaan kerran uudelleen
on pipettipullossa tullut vitaaminicocktail. Joten sen lisäksi, että nämä ovat edullisia,
nin nämä myös kestävät ikuisuuden.

Rakastuin Mossaan abouttirallaa noin vuosi sitten ja olen äimän käkenä edelleen;
omaa hyvin vaikean ihon koska se on erittäin herkkä ja myös erittäin atooppinen
-siitä huolimatta Mossa on saanut ihoni tasapainoon. Vihdoinkin.
Se tuntuu uskomattomalle sillä ihoni -erityisesti talvella ja kesällä- käyttäytyy
erittäin vaikeasti ja siksi olenkin käyttänyt apteekin tuotteita aina.
Mutta vaikka kuinka käytin apteekin luottotuotteita ja vaihtelin niitä,
niin ihoni oli siitä huolimatta erittäin huonossa kondiksessa.

Tällä hetkellä ihoni tuntuu uskomattomalta ja on hyvässä kunnossa
-vaikka elämmekin talviaikaa. Ja niinä harvoina päivinä, kun atopia ottaa
ihoni haltuunsa, nin en joudu enää kovinkaan usein turvautumaan Protopiciin.
Ja silloinkin, kun turvaudun niin se tapahtuu ainoastaan yhtenä päivänä.
Ja se on aikamoinen ihme tälläiselle rajusti atoopiselle.

Voisin siis sanoa, että olen erittäin rakastunut Mossaan sillä se muutti ihoni
(ja sitä kautta vaikutti radikaalisti elämäänikin sillä parempi iho=helpompi hymyillä peilikuvalle)
ja seuraavaksi luvasssa informaatiota tuotteista, joita olen käyttänyt:

Facial Oil Vitamin Oil Cocktail, 16,95€/30ml (Nyt 13€ TÄÄLLÄ*)

This vitamin oil cocktail actively renewing concentrate with 10 potent plant oils
(jojoba seed oil, almond, avocado, olive, apricot, plum, evening primrose, rosehip,
oat and tomato oil) and a nourishing raspberry and sea buckthorn multivitamins blend.
This is also dermatologically tested.
And the smell... it's heavenly! You can also use this as a serum so you don't necessarily
need anything else when you put this on or you can mix this with your night or day cream.
I also use this under my make-up and you can really see the difference.

moisturises very dry -like mine- skin and leaves it incredibly soft.

It's time for something new | On aika jollekin uudelle

Hello loves! ♡
It definitely feels weird and absurd that the last time
I published something was over a week ago. Wiuf. 

But time has flown; I've been working on something new
and amazing for the Fashion Poetry. Like I opened up on Instastory.
I don't tell you more just yet but I promise it's something really really awesome. 

But also a time-consuming.

That's the reason why I don't post like I used to, but this over a week break
was something I didn't see coming. So, there will definitely be more posts
than once in 10 days even though I have to say that not so many like normally because,
like I said,  that new awesome thing is really time-consuming. 

And I'm not sure when it will be ready
but I'll let you know! 😚

Anyway, if you want to hear more besides posts,

That's also the way to get more out of me; to see my everyday life
that's very... ordinary. And that's something I would love to bring

Hei rakkahat! ♡
Tuntuu äärimmäisen oudolta ja absurdilta, että viimebloggailustani
on kulunut jo yli viikko. Huh ja wiuf,  miten aika lentää.

Tälle poissaololleni on äärimmäisen hyvä syy; moon nimittäin paraikaa työstämässä
jotain mahtavan upeeta Fashion Poetrya varten -kuten taannoin avauduinkin Instastoryssa.
Sen enempää en vielä paljasta mutta mä lupaan sen olevan jotain erittäin erittäin mahtavaa.
Mutta erittäin aikaa vievää myöskin.

Siinä syy, että miksi postaustahti ei ole enää samanlainen kuin yleensä mutta tämä
viikon bloggailemattomuus tuli puskista itsellenikin. Joten, täällä tulee olemaan
enemmän postauksia kuin kerran kymmenessä päivässä vaikkakin on myönnettävä,
että ei ihan niin usein kuin tyypillisesti. Koska, kuten jo sanoinkin, 
se erittäin mahtava uusi juttu on myös äärimmäisen aikaa vievää.

Vielä en tiedä, että mikä on tuon projektin päätöspäivä,
mutta lupaan informoida teitä, kun projekti etenee siihen malliin! 😘

10 x Thursday Tunes: Songs that made me stronger

Today, as a part of the theme day 'Thursday Tunes', I'll let you in to my mind and share my so-called "empowering songs" in random order that have affected me in one way or other -with a positive outcome. And I really believe that one song can actually change your life.

Because it can make you believe in magic; to make you hope even though you only see darkness around you, to give you strength to breathe and dream, to work harder towards your dreams and
to make you believe that life really is a wonderful thing.


This was a song that I listened hours and hours when I battled with an eating disorder.
And when I listened to it, I felt like finally someone understands me and that maybe
I'm gonna be alright.


This song by The National may not be so empowering when it comes to
its lyrics but I just love the sounds in it. The rhythm is something that made me feel
peaceful when my head was a total mess after a burnout.


This song gave me hope when I was battling with the beast called anorexia nervosa.
It made me think that one day... will be a good day. And it came true; nowadays almost
every day is a good day. And I'm so glad I stuck around to see my life as it is right now.


The description this song is "a song about losing hope" and it feels like a warm hug.
Like you are not the only one battling against demons and that you are not alone.


His album were this song is from, The Sparrow and The Crow, is something I highly recommend
if you are dealing with a broken heart and just lost a relationship that you thought would last forever.
So beautiful songs with a deep thoughts that will make you believe that you'll be alright and something much better will come.


This is a song that makes my heart beat faster and makes me believe
that the dog days really are over; it's time for the new beginnings and time to something new.
Btw, if you love Florence + The Machine like me, listen to THIS over a hour long live recording.

This is a song about loving yourself unconditionally and I feel fierce when I listen to it.
Like I have it all inside of me. All along.


This song is so beautiful with its lyrics and its sounds.
I was living hell after hell and was thinking that what kind of hell comes next.
It never did. Instead of something painful, the freedom came next because I finally let the light
come in and it reminded me that I'm not lost -just like Rose sings in this song.
And that felt kind of magic.


This is a song that makes my dreams go wilder
and makes me realize that I really have everything it takes
to turn those big dreams into reality.

This is a powerful song; it gives you hope and strength and shows the life like it is:
beautiful and full of miracles. This song also reminds me of our little miracle ♡

I've been blogging since 2006 and the story with this blog began in January 2011 and actually,
I first named this blog as a "Fashion inside out" which I changed for "Fashion Poetry" in March 2011.
And I'm still very much in love with this name 😍

When this love story began, it began because of my eternal love for fashion, writing and
photographing. And it also was very clear that I would also write about loving yourself and
write about the life's heaven and hell's because I have a voice and I've decided to use it
-to encourage other's to open up, be bolder and more confident with themselves.

Seven years ago I wouldn't have even a clue that this would be an actual job for me;

in 2012 I landed my first collaboration and today I've been contacted with over than 50 brands.

From the beginning, this blog has been my calling and a dream come true.

And it still is; this is something that I truly love, that feels just like me and feels like home. 

And my guess is that I'll be growing old with Fashion Poetry; that's how much I love doing this
and I see myself doing this even in my 70s. 

And this all is possible because of YOU. 

So, I want to thank you with all my heart; thank you for being here! ♡

Bloggailutaipaleeni alkoi vuonna 2006 mutta tämän blogin tarina alkoi tammikuussa 2011.
Aluksi nimesin blogini "Fashion inside out":ksi, jonka muutin "Fashion Poetry":ksi
maaliskuussa 2011. Ja edelleen olen äärimmäisen rakastunut tähän nimeen 😍

Kun tämä rakkaustarina alkoi, niin se kaikki sai alkunsa ikuisesta rakkaudestani muotia,
kirjoittamista ja valokuvaamista kohtaan. Mulle oli myös alusta saakka selvää, että kirjoittaisin
myös itsensä rakastamisesta sekä elämän taivaista ja helveteistä koska mulla on ääni, jota olen
päättänyt käyttää -rohkaistakseni muita avautumaan,
olemaan rohkeampia ja itsevarmempia itsensä kanssa.

Seitsemän vuotta sitten mulla ei olisi käynyt mielessäkään, että tämä tulisi olemaan oikea työ mulle;
vuonna 2012 solmin ensimmäisen yhteistyösopimuksen ja
tänä päivänä olen ollut kontaktissa yli 50 brändin kanssa.

Alusta saakka tämä blogi on tuntunut kutsumukseltani ja toteutuneelta unelmaltani.
Ja niitä se on vahvasti edelleen sillä tämä on jotain, jota oikeasti rakastan ja paikka, joka
tuntuu kuin kodilta. Ja mun veikkaukseni on, että tulen vanhenemaan Fashion Poetryn kanssa;
näen itseni tekemässä tätä vielä seitsemänkymppisenäkin.

Ja tämä kaikki on mahdollista SUN vuoksesi.

The first outfit post ever! | Ensimmäinen asupostaus ikinä!

New year, new mood -for the Fashion Poetry too! 😍

I'm so excited about The FP's future and one of those new things is
doing outfit articles that let you in to my style deeper and hopefully inspire you!

For me, this is a giant step (when you read below you will understand why) but I got
so many questions from the people who see my style that why I don't show those here
on the blog too because my style is quite... not so mainstream and clearly not so Finnish. Hahah! 😂
And mostly because I would love to do outfit articles too!

When these photos were taken, I shook because I was both nervous and excited at the same time.

But the more photos were taken, the more I felt like I was hooked on taking outfit photos.

I wondered that why I hadn't taken outfit photos earlier; why I hadn't taken this giant step earlier

to out of my comfort zone because I felt so alive and it was so much fun -and rewarding! 

Especially because my first outfit photoshoot was with my lovely blog colleague Saija,

who's so talented and I trust her. She made this out-of-my-comfort-zone-experiment 

so smooth, fun and actually really nice. I was so confused about my own reaction;

how on earth I become hooked on something that I didn't think that would even be "my thing"?

Of course, there's this personal thing that affected on my thinking before;

when without my own reason, as an ex-anorexic, I gain weight 30 kilograms in less than two months.
From the size XXS/32 to the size M-L/40-42. It was because of my other health issues and I know that it wasn't my own fault but it was waaaaaay too much for an ex-anorexic.
 I wrote about this crisis HERE.

 That's why it sometimes felts so unfair and even painful to even see myself in the mirror
-so you can imagine how it felt like to go front of the camera

and maybe even publish those photos in front of so many of you. 

On the other hand; taking these photos made me better me;

someone who is more herself and who carries herself more confident

-and even feels beautiful with these curves. I felt good about myself.

But that's the thing; sometimes in order to find your thing and your strength,
you need to muddle through your insecurities and go out of your comfort zone.

And climb up stronger and as a winner. And in this case, with more self-compassion.

Uusi vuosi, uusi mielentila -The Fashion Poetrylle myös! 😍

Moon niin innoissani The FP:n tulevaisuudesta, johon kuuluu vahvasti myös
asupostaukset, jotta tutustuisit tyyliini syvällisemmin ja toivottavasti saisit inspiraatiota!

Tämä on mulle ihan valtava askel (kun luet postausta eteenpäin niin ymmärrät, että miksi) mutta
saan paljon kysymyksiä tyypeiltä, jotka näkevät tyylini, että miksen myös esittelisi niitä täällä
blogissakin koska tyyliini on... noh, kaikkea muuta kuin valtavirtaa eikä selvästikään kovin tyypillinen suomalaiselle. Hahah! 😂 Mutta pääsyy on se, että tykkäisin tehdä myös asupostauksia!

Kun nämä kuvat otettiin niin tärisin jännityksestä, kauhusta ja innostuksesta yhtä aikaa.

Mitä enemmän asukuvia räpsittiin, niin sitä enemmän jäin koukkuun siihen. 

Ihmettelin, että miksi en jo aiemmin ole rämpinyt kauhulla epämukavuusalueelleni 

tässäkään asiassa; asukuvaaminen kun oli erittäin hauskaa ja antoisaa!

Varsinkin, kun sen sai ensimmäisen kerran tehdä ihanan bloggaajakollegan Saijan kanssa,
jonka osaamiseen luotti.  Kameran takana oli joku, joka teki tuosta epämukavuusalueelleni astumisesta luontevaa, hauskaa ja itseasiassa oikeinkin mukavaa. Hämmennyin ja häkellyin omasta reaktiostani; miten ihmeessä jäin koukkuun johonkin, jota en ollut koskaan
ajatellut "omaksi jutukseni"?

Asiaan toki vaikutti henkilökohtainen kriisini, josta avauduin TÄÄLLÄ;

kun entisen anorektikon paino nousi itsestä riippumattomista syistä 30 kiloa alle parissa kuukaudessa.

Sen vuoksi on tuntunut välillä hyvinkin kipeältä katsoa itseään peilistä 

-saati sitten astua kameran eteen ja mahdollisesti jopa julkaista kuvat suurelle lukijajoukolle.

Se tosin poiki mukanaan uudenlaisen minän, joka kantaa itseään taas astetta

itsevarmempana ja kokonaisempana yksilönä. Ja joka tuntee itsensä kauniiksi
-kurveineen kaikkineen.

Mutta niin kai se on; joskus löytääkseen sen oman juttunsa ja vahvuutensa 

on rämmittävä läpi epävarmuuksiensa ja epämukavuusalueensa. Ja nousta ylös vahvempna
ja pelkonsa voittaneena. Sekä tässä tapauksessa itsemyötätuntoisempana.
