#023 - "A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks." ~Charles Gordy~

A smile can light the room. It also can hide so many things (trust me: I know what I'm talking about -been there, done that)  but even when your world is crashing there'll always be something to smile about or at least someone who loves to see you smiling.
I myself sometimes use smiling to hide my true feelings because to me it's so much easier to just smile and be positive than to show how I truly feel. For me it's also a way to survive and way to let those sunshines of my life to lift my mood -feel the real happiness even in the darkest times of my life.
 

I honestly think that even forcing a smile when we don't feel like it it's enough to lift our mood slightly (see Embodied cognition). And don't forget that the world always looks brighter behind a smile, so just smile -even in the darkest times! 

 

So, I've got a challenge for you guys:  when someone cross you on the street or anywhere else -SMILE! You never know whose life it will change  and it's a language that even a baby understands. Plus: smiling feels more relaxing than frowning!
